Hi, I have recently had the turbo replaced, and now I cannot get the car started, the cam timing seems ok, but but the car seems to be 180 degrees out. Where are the timing marks, and how do I set the timing again? thanks
Make sure the distributor is firing on number 1 cylinder then determine tdc of number 1

the way to reset the brake light is to turn the key to "on" without turning the car on. Let it sit there for 15-30 seconds and the light should go off by itself. If not, double check how you have the sensors hooked up.

if you go to the dealer they will copy the mech manule it you ask them as they want you to get frustrated and take it to them
so go on and ask and if all else fails take it to them or goto local parts store like auto zone they can preint it off too

it has a sensor fault but the problem is finding the fault ,best advice here is to ask BMW dealer to have a look for you as sometimes this sort of fault could be anything from a sensor to a microprocessor and without the correct software its very difficult to locate
