2005 Pathfinder - all warning lights on

Driving down the highway the 4x4 , ABS , Slip and VDC lights came on at once .  Now the 4x4 is on all the time no matter what setting it is turned to ... the ABS and VDC do not function .  Ideas ?

I have the same problem, the lights actually went out for a couple of days and the the abs and other instruments began to work again then they all lit up again

We have the same promble. We kicked a chunk of ice off the wheel well one morning and the abs light, vdc and slip came on. They occaisonly go off but never for long. 4wd doesn't go off. Wondering if it has to do with the time of year - seems to happen to all of us in the Winter/cold.

Sounds like my problem. I took it to Nissan and they hooked it up and said it was a left rear ABS sensor. They wanted $350 to fix it. I ordered it online for $165 and replaced it myself. Only problem is that the lights are still on. I'm not sure how to reset these?

VDC/ SLIP LIGHT ON

If a warning light is on, there's a trouble code stored in the computer. There are well over 800-1,000 possible trouble codes in the average late model vehicle, so asking us to guess what's causing your problem without knowing the code is a complete waste of time. Get the code read. Post it here. THEN we can help

Vdc and slip remains on

The VDC can be reset by driving on a road straight for a few miles. It's best to use a big highway. My parents have a pathfinder, went to have the battery changed out and the Nissan dealer could not help them get it off. But after a little searching, it states to drive for about 1 mile without turns or braking. It has went off and hopefully it will work for you.

the vdc off can result because the steering input sensor needs to be re calibrated with the nissan consult2 .

4x4 and VDC problem with my 2005 Pathfinder

to get rid of 4x4.while running, put your truck in N, foot on brake and change the selector out of 4 LOW. you should get indication on your dash, no 4X4 flashimg and back into 2WD. If the VDC light is on, its linked to your ABS so check your brake fluid levels. Good Luck
