Check engine light comes on and stays on I had the code check and EGR valve was the only code that came up, I replaced it with a new Delphi brand one, ran the car for about 100 miles and light went out. Now the Check Engine Light came back on and also the Traction Control Light is now on. Does anyone Know what could I check to resolve?
U will have to run the tests for the trouble codes from both lights, they are unrelated, but chances are the CEL is the same problem, the EGR valve, in any event without the trouble codes there are far to many things to turn either light on to venture a guess, that kind of diagnosis costs allot of your money.

Okay so back to the shop to have them put the computer on it again.
Thanks. I have also changed a crank position sensor and now the check engine light went out, but i still have the "traction control off" light that comes on shortly after driving the car a few minutes.
