SOURCE: Need to add transmission fluid to a 2004 Chevy Optra
It is annoying when people automatically assume there is a dipstick and that we are all dipsticks for not knowing. There have been a few cars that have come out on the market in the last ten years or so that have no dipsticks for the automatic transmissions. I also have the same issue with a slow leak from the line coming out of the rad. There is a spot on the front of the transmisson behind the rad hose where you can put in fluid. When you remove this bolt, fluid should come out..if not then you need to add some. To add it jack the front of car and using a funnel add some fluid until it pours out when the car is level. This may take several attempts. If you over fill it just let some drain out into a pan until your at a trickle then put the plug back in. This is the only solution I was able to come across for this. It seems to be a common issue with these cars as it the problem of the lines rusting out and into the radiator making it necessary to replace the lines and rad,
