I have a VW passat 99 model and need to change the speak plugs, i can located 2 of these which are directly under the cover once removed but from what i beleive all cars have 4 - i cannot for the life of...

The other two will be inline with the two you found, spark plugs have lead attached to them so you should find them easy.

I removed the driver-side door panel on 2002 VW Passat in order to replace speaker. After making repair and replacing side panel, there is now no power to window controls and engine won't turn over. Radio...

I solved my problem by a more meticulous examination of the fuses. I found a blown 10A fuse, and replacing it solved the problem.

2002 VW Passat GLX AWD, stereo stopped working

HI,
Passats can be reset if the radio is pulled out and the fuse on the back is removed. Wait for 2 mins, reinsert the fuse and turn the radio on. If this doesn't work, please take it to the dealer for the unlocking of the code, for which he may charge you some fee.

99 vw passat sw 1.8t #3 cyl not firing. Compression good & even,replaced plugs #3 wet, fuel fouled. Replaced coil pack,still misses,all connections look good. Any suggestions?

ihad the same problem.. its not the coils or anything like that.. and any reg mechanic wont know the prob unless they under vw.. u need to replace ur power output stage.. thats what cylinder 3 misfire is.. after i fixed it my car is good as new. i

What size are the speakers???

all 4 speakers at the door are 6 1/2 inch .Depending on the brand you pick will be the cost. good luck.

Oil in water resovour vw 2002 passat

Could be just the OIL COOLER. VW IS CORRECT.
If the oil cooloer fails internely you will have a mix of coolant and oil. In the engine and in the Radiator,

But not to say the other guys were wrong...

This is a partial solution to let you know that the door panels for both the front and rear speakers have to be removed,, See repair manual for removing the door panels

Yes being that I owe a stereo shop the size of the front and rear door speakers are the same 61/2 inch.any 61/2 inch speaker will fit with no problem.The brand will determine the price so be carefull or you will be spending alot.good luck....
