Use another vehicle and start by connecting the jump leads from the negative on one battery to the negative on the other and do the same with the positive, the positive is the one with the cross or the red wires. dont worry if u get a little spark when connecting the jump leads its perfically normal, then simply start the other vehicle up and leave it running for aruond 5 minuates then try starting your can.(you may need to rev the other car up a bit to raise the power being transfered) be very careful not to put the jump leads on the wrong terminals.
i hope this advice helps u,

Actually you should always hook the positive leads first. Positive from the "donor" car to the positive terminal on the "patient" car. Then attach a negative lead from the donor car's negative terminal to the CHASSIS or MOTOR BODY of the patient car. This is vital to prevent a surge which could possibly spike your vehicles ECU. Start the donor car first, and always be sure to put a little load on the patient car, for example turn the headllights on, before attempting to start it. If you follow these instructions you can not go wrong.

I have a 1997 wrx and have lost the remote for the imobiliser, what can be done?

most dealers have the remote immobiliser on record. You will need to provide vin number, model, year proof of ownership, registration and other paper work and in some instances a lot of money as replacement of the key costs

Ive changed my subaru impreza 2002 wrx engine but it will not start it turns over ok and its getting fuel it will fire once and thats it

You need to remap the ECU to have the new engine codes, otherwise the computer will not let the engine run as the immobiliser/security system thinks that the car is getting stolen.Same thing with the key codes for the ignition.

Wrx pin pad fault

Your battery could be flat, otherwise you have to take the car to a dealer and they will reset the code. It is a very common problem.

Fuel Pump issue with 95 WRX STi

On both cars, check the fuel pump/guage harness connector under rear seat - the old fuel pump draws too much current and melts the connector causing poor conatct & voltage drop off. Easy to see usually, just cut the two fuel pump wires from either side of the connector and re-join with new crimp connectors, or solder joint.
