This problem has been around for a couple years, little by little got worse then about 2 years ago the engine light stared coming on, I have cleaned the battery, altanator and started grounds, terminals,ect. it seems to lack power while driving but runs ok
The fuel pump could be geting weak and not sending the proper amount of fuel to the injectors. If you know how you can connect a fuel pressure gadge to the fuel rail. if it gets lower than 35 its bad. also the fuel rail pressure switch could be bad
Have system scanned for any dtcs first even if light is off now a history code is stored so are any pending codes several things can cause your problem under most causes with in 30 mins with scanner can tell you the problems to address first our dealership has 1 hour free diag call your local dealer

Check for vaccume leaks and also you PCV valve. check the hose too. Visually inspect every vaccume hose you can find. Sounds like a leak .

if this is an automatic there will be a dip stick if it is a manual you do not use transmission fluid to find out what sencor is bad take car to advance auto parts they have a digatal reader and can tell wou what sencer went bad and where it is located

I have the same car and I know there was a TSB for the ECM . I know the ECM issue has cause some cars to stall while driving
