UNFORTUNATELY THE ONLY THING THAT CAN FIX THIS PROBLE, IS TO REPLACE THE HEADLAMPS. I'VE WORKED IN BODY SHOPS FOR 8 YEARS AND I HAVE FOUND NOTHING TRUELY FIXES THIS PROBLEM.

Fog lights not working on 2006 Nissan Maxima

The most likely cause is a 'short' in the wiring. Remove the light fitting and take a good look at the connections on the actual light fitting. Look for dirty or damaged parts. Check the wires and the connector blocks are clean, shiny and are not damaged. Then check the light fitting itself for damage. Check the seal where the light fitting fits against the bodywork. If moisture or water is getting past it can affect the lights.

How to fit new fog lights in my ford territory as mine did not come with them i got the fog lights to fit just dont know how

Unless you have a Ford fog light kit that plugs into existing wiring it would be unwise to fit your foglights except by the old fashioned best practice method of keeping the new wiring completely separate from the existing vehicle wiring. It is too easy to inadvertently upset computers and other electronics.

You will need to supply the lamps via a fuse and relay from the battery. How the relay is to be triggered depends on the regulations where you are. In the UK for instance, fog lights must only be used in fog or falling snow and in conjunction with dipped headlamps so it makes sense to draw the relay trigger current via a dashboard switch from the dipped headlamps. This means the foglights can't accidentally be used except with the dipped headlamps...

How turn on my fog lights on 99 montana or its turn on by itself

Fog Lamps The fog lamps switch is located in the instrument panel switchbank. Push the fog lamp symbol on the switch to turn on the lamps. The indicator light will glow. Push the ribbed part of the switch to turn them off. The indicator light will go off. Your parking lamps or headlamps must be on for your fog lamps to go on.

Headlamps not working, fuses o.k., bulbs ok, replaced switch ok 98 chevy cavalier w/ daytime running lights . 2 relays on harness between headlamps one is for fog lamps, not sure of the other , cannot get...

are your daytime running lamps working. if they are according to the schematic there are 4 relays, fog lamp, fog lamp cut off, isolation, and daytime running lamp; 2 fuses: right and left, that supply volts to the headlamps. it's a little confusing though, because these schematics might have some mistakes. anyway, it looks like the drl relay.grounds the headlamps when the drl control in the micro processor located in the instrument cluster senses the headlamps have been turned on. this trips the relay and 12vdc is supplied. the dlr might be bad. otherwise, i would think you have a hardwire or connector problem.

Only brights work, dimly lit headlamps, no fog lamps

Recheck the bulb number. This happens when the wrong bulb number is installed. Otherwise it could be a bad headlight ground.
