92 sundance gas gauge doesnt work

It could either be a bad circuit board that controls the gas gauge, or the float in the fuel tank that is connected to the fuel pump has a crack in it and is full of gas so it just sits at near its lowest point.

check for a common fuse( Instrument panel)

It is stuck...have the sending unit replaced.

possible constance voltage regulator CVR for short name located behind instrument cluster on printed circuit for gauges and dash-lights. It is held on normally with one screw and the connection looks like a 9 volt battery connection.

That should be radiator fan relay, open or shorted. If your radiator fan is working as it should, the code may have been stored before rad fan was fixed.

All Nissan have the fuel pump relay near de ECU. But you must hear when starting working, and falow the click. The ECU is mounted under the pasanger seat.
About the Gauges, in the circuit of the front panel, it have a transistor that suply more or less 8volts to the gauges (gas and temp). Is possibly broken. You must replace it. But first, clean it with a contact cleaner; if the problem continue, replace it. Good Luck.

The float in the tank is not working properly or it could me a problem with the gauge.

Unsure what engine or Vin Number is for your Car. All 0f the diagrams looked the same for the 2.2 - 2.5 and others, with and with out turbo.

some are on a fuse link but most of them have the fuel pump and gauge sender on the pump, it has a wire winding to work the gauge msounds like the whole fuel pump gauge sender needs to be replaced, thanks robert b.

I don't think a 92 sundance will shut the fuel pump down when the oil pressure is low, but it might. Can you get it to run on carb cleaner. If it is oil pressure, the car should start then run a few seconds and die. Have you checked the timing belt? If it broke the distributor will stop turning which would stop the oil pump.
