I have a 2003 gmc envoy and the driver side windshield fluid washer does not work properly, i was told there could be calcium build up in the line. how do i fix this problem

I had my 2007 Acadia in for the heated washer fluid recall a few months ago. ... bad in the Midwest, I just noticed the front washer fluid not working. ..... the fuse finally seated properly and my windshield washer now works. Front Windshield Washer Spray

Look under the hood to see if the hoses carrying washer fluid are connected or leaking. Next, see if the nozzle is plugged with dirt that may have gotten into the washer fluid container. Compressed air sometimes unclogs the nozzle.

Is your wiper fluid level good?Look for leaks at pump,it's connected to container,also check your hoses leaving pump to windshield,could be loose or binding.

{: ) The rear washer pump is attached to the washer fluid reservoir. Below the left headlamp assembly. Ignition on, engine off. Switch ON the rear washer control. If you can hear the rear washer motor works, check for clogged hoses and tubes. If it's not clogged, your motor could only be running but not pumping.
If you cant hear the washer motor at work, its probably faulty.
To rule out if its a control switching issue, get a test light to check for voltage at the washer connector if you could only access it. Its better to check on that end. If you cant access it, at least probe the rear washer fuse at the underhood fuseblock. The test lamp should light everytime you switch on the rear washer switch.

it is a hose problem, there is only one pump for both nozzles. there is probably just a bit of debris caught in the nozzle. disconnect the line under the hood, and blow compressed air back (reverse) through the system. may take a couple of tries but should work. good luck!

Get a can of Compressed Gas, like the type for computer key bords. Hold the straw up against the hole on the nozzle, and shoot air back into the line. cleared my clog line

We have a 2002 Envoy and the rear window washer fluid tank is the same as the windshield tank.

you have to remove the air filter box to get to the washer fluid resivoir the pump is mouted to it

Honestly the best way is to pull the old one out nd go to ur local salvage yard nd get a used one but notice where leak is and note if rubbed against something to cause leak or did freezing case it when water was put intoit.They have washer fluid that will not freeze.
