Car stalls if the RPMs fall under 1000

Wondering if the crankase sensor causes this condition - If I don't keep giving the car a little gas to keep the RPM above 1000, it will register a engine misfire code i.e. the check engine light will blink and the engine will act like it's going to die - hestitate.

Car stalls at low rpms in gear. vacuum hose possible problem?

There are several potential causes for a car stalling at low RPMs in gear, and a vacuum hose problem is one possibility. Here are some other things to consider:

Fuel delivery issue: If the car is not getting enough fuel, it may stall at low RPMs. This could be due to a faulty fuel pump, a clogged fuel filter, or a problem with the fuel pressure regulator.

Ignition problem: If the car is not receiving sufficient spark at the spark plugs, it may stall at low RPMs. This could be caused by a faulty ignition system, such as a failing ignition coil or a damaged spark plug wire.

Clogged air filter: If the air filter is clogged, it can restrict the flow of air to the engine, which can cause the car to stall at low RPMs.

Throttle body issue: If the throttle body is dirty or malfunctioning, it can cause the car to stall at low RPMs.

Mass airflow sensor problem: The mass airflow sensor measures the amount of air entering the engine and sends this information to the engine control unit (ECU). If the sensor is not working properly, it can cause the car to stall at low RPMs.

To determine the cause of the problem, you may need to have the car inspected by a mechanic. They will be able to diagnose the issue and recommend the appropriate repair. In the case of a vacuum hose problem, the mechanic will check for any leaks or damage to the hose and replace it if necessary.

97 buick regal gs runs fine until warm then stalls and will start for more than a second. sometimes when i give it gas it will rev for another second then stall

When the engine warms up the engine computer goes into closed loop mode and relies primarily on the O2 sensors and the MAF sensor to calculate the correct fuel to air mixture - if one of the O2 sensors is fouled or the MAF sensor is not working properly, this can cause the problem.
Given the age of the car, I would also check the idle air control (IAC) and channels, the EGR valve and the throttle body for carbon buildup.

I have a 1998 pontiac grand am gt. It recently it has been randomly choking out and stalling while at a complete stop or while attempting to accelerate in first gear... one time when it started to choke...

Could be a vacume leak, fuel filter, MAF mass air flow sensor. If the engine light is on then go to any parts place and have a free scaning for codes that will give you and us a better idea of whats going on.

1991 Chevy Caprice has a mild miss fire and stall at low rpm: This is my latest update: I checked and cleaned the EGR,PCV,IAC valve, M.A.P sensor and Throttle body(bore/butterfly). with carb cleaner....

Do you have the idle speed turned up to keep it from dying? Because it is high. Check engine light on? Have you checked for vacuum leaks at the gasket under the throttle body? How does the car run under acceleration? You might have a worn distributor shaft.
