The speedometer operates off from the speed sensor. The speed sensor is also used by the cruise control to maintaned the proper speed. If bothe are not working than there is likely a common problem.

My speedomeeter is not working hiw can i fix it
What make , model an year ? All instrument clusters are electronic now ! More then likely speedometer gauge is bad ,which means the instrument cluster needs replacing ! Vehicles have a (VSS)vehicle speed sensor in the transmission or uses a wheel speed sensor for the ABS as a input to one of the control modules , PCM or EBCM .Which then sends a message over the CAN data bus ,where the instrument clusters processor deciphers the info an sets the speedometer ! If your not familiar with this things I said here , your better off taking to a ASE certified repair shop or dealer !

Crusie control does not work on 2011 gmc sierra 1500 and I've already replaced the switch?
If the switch is replaced,then it can be wiring issue or faulty cruise control board.But as the switch is replaced,get the voltage at the switch tested to confirm the switch is actually receiving voltage.If no voltage received at switch power supply wire then ,apply external 12 volt power to the cruise control switch wire and then see if cruise control comes ON.If yes,then you know wiring is issue.

Cruise control problem
There are 3 places on the Rav4 where fuses can be located and checked. for the cuise control.

The back of the cruise control stacking switch has been know to fail (fall apart) and Toyota issued a TSB with replacement switch.

if it is the fuses then they most likely are related to cruise control system: Stop, Dome, Gauge and Igniton
The interior fuse box
The main engine fuse box (by brake fluid)
Cruise control ECU is under the glovebox.
Cruise control actuator is under hood (by driver side brake fluid/booster)Throttle position sensor (to detect if your foot is on gas pedal)
Cruise control switch on the clutch pedal too (if you have 5spd manual)
Brake lights are the deactivate signal for the cruise control
