My engine cuts out power while driving freeway speeds as if I let off the gas for a quick second

Check fuel pressure gas filter and check air filters

for mstarters and your ownSAFETY.. dont reattempt this..it may also be that low oil pressure in the block caused the fuel pump to cut oput so you wont blow the engine..why do something so stupid??just drive it and do it safely please..the life you save will be YOUR OWN..

With the oil light coming on and the brake pedal being hard to press I would say that the engine stopped hence no vacuum -no power assist from the booster.- hard brake pedal. The lock uo feeling may come from the engine seizing up while you were still in gear

what size engine? any repairs lately to the engine? when does it stall? freeway speeds, around town or at lights?

replace both and also check for a loose ecm ground

Im Driving on the freeway and my car just dies i press the gas, and its not speeding up now im flooring the gas and still nothing, Pull it home and the battery dies went to auto zone replace old batt with a brand new batt and the car doesnt crank up but the electricity comes on i get some quick start in runs for 5 minutes and then cuts off this reapeats

Sounds like the alternator is going bad and killing the battery.

the spark unit is shorting out to system ground. remove the spark unit and look carefully at where it is mounted and look for small cracks in the electrical insulation material that was poured into it at the spark unit factory. if water gets into this area, havoc occurs.
