I just by-passed the ABS system and the front breaks work perfectly! I don't care much for ABS... It's not like I'll be slamming on the breaks down the road at high speeds. I'm off to do the same on the rear breaks tomorrow.

Are the brake lights coming ON.When you press the brake pedal. If not then get the brake light switch checked. Also check the voltage at the relay which is clicking.Interchange the relay with any other relay and confirm if still there is clicking. The clicking is the indication of relay functioning but if there is constant clicking then there is a short in the connection causing the relay to click constantly.Get it checked. Keep updated.thanks.

Why is brake and ABS light on in town & country 2008

Highly likely that your vehicle may not stop next time you press on the brake pedal. Either the master cylinder is failing, the ABS module is failing, your brake servo is failing, or you have lost a significant amount of brake fluid due to a leak. IT IS URGENT THAT YOU GET THE VEHICLE TO A REPAIR SHOP IMMEDIATELY TO HAVE IT LOOKED AT. IT IS DANGEROUS TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE IT WHEN THOSE LIGHTS ARE ILLUMINATED SIMULTANEOUSLY.

I can't touch brakes easy enough when I'm navigating a slow speed in gravel or uneven surface, it's s'posed to have abs but the front wheel wants to plow sideways when I'm going @ walking speed

This may be a non-factory fix for pushing gravel ( other than staying out of gravel with a 700 pound street bike). With the ignition on and the engine dead, pull on the brake lever with one or two fingers just enough to make the brake light flash at 120 cycles (fast), start the engine while continuing to keep slight pressure on the lever. Keeping the lever slightly pulled will give only 15% brake capacity with no servo assist. Once out of the gravel, release the lever and when the brake light flashes at 60 cycles (slow) pull away safely and never return to the gravel. Ha!

Brake failure light.

This is normal. Its part of the start up diagnostics where the sensors needs to see the wheels rotate 1 or 2 revolutions to verify proper functioning of the ABS system.

Abs fault on 2004 r1150rt

I would take it in to get the ABS system serviced - you may have introduced air into the hydraulics or moved the ABS sensor out of position. If oyu have the power-assist brakes, you will notice that there isn't any - assist, that is.

2003 VW Passat Brake Failure

check that the vacuum line is feeding the servo any leaks in the vacuum line will stop the brakes from working abs relays on the pedal pressure to activate abs, if you can hear a hissing sound from the servo then the servo is leaking inside this is if the vacuum line is not damaged, use a pipe or screwdriver on the case and put to your ear and you should hear if its hissing or not.
