Where is my 2008 yukon cabin filter located - 2007 GMC Yukon Denali

So it looks like the newer models do not include a cabin filter however they can be bought and will include a cover that can be screwed in. Now I don't know what is required to remove the current cover.

There should be a panel under the glove box with a few screws. Remove the panel and replace the filters.

the location of the CAF is found in your owners manual. if you don't have one, you can also see www.autozone.com for a complete listing of info on your vehicle. you will have to sign up and it is free to use.

It does not have one. Starting in 2003 the cabin filter was no longer installed on your vehicle.

Cabin filter where installed as an option when the vehicle was manufactured. If you don't see an opening than yours is likely one that does not have that option. 99% of them do not have a cabin filter.

I found this



Ford F150 cabin air filter location. From year 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008.

Here you can find how to locate Ford F150 pollen filter when you need to replace.



Cabin air filter on Ford F150 is located inside the car on the passenger side.

If is first time when you change this filter you need to following this work procedure.

1.Remove the plastic panel (see in picture) for a easier access.


2.Install the plastic onto cabin air filter housing cover and use screw to hold this on position.

The 2006 Liberty does not have one. You can add one if you want though... On the Jeep forum Jeep Jeepster said: "Correct, the liberty doesnt have one. I added a filter media to help filter out dust":

I have 2004 yukon xl could not find cabin filter behind glove box. the manuel has picture of door opening fo filter, but my yukon has no door nor seam for that matter.

I cant locate the cabin air filter on my 2008 VW Beetle. I went to the location and its not there. There is a musty smell coming from the vents.

Location of cabin air filter

It can have a cabin air filter, but most vehicles ship without it. Either way, you can access the cabin air filter housing by opening the glove box all the way (squeeze the sides so it clears the stops).

The filters are around $15 at the dealer.

Whether or not there's a cabin filter installed, make sure you're also following Chrysler's recommendations in the owner's manual—running the air on recirculate all the time will encourage mold and bacteria to grow.

Cabin filter for a GMC Yukon XL 05

They no longer used a cabin filter after about 2003. The cover is there buth it is molded shut with plastic welds.
