Test the electrical circuit ,voltage drop ! Do you know how do to automotive electrical testing using a DMM - digital multi-meter ? Looking at a wiring diagram so you know what wire's are what ?
Free wiring diagram's here http://www.bbbind.com/free_tsb.html
Enter vehicle info. year , make , model an engine size . Under system click on engine , then under subsystem click on fuel controls . Click the search button then click the blue link .
No driver module shown on the wiring diagram for 89-98 models. There is an EEC relay that powers the fuel pump relay. The fuel pump relay is grounded by the PCM. The voltage goes from the fuel pump relay thru the inertia switch and on to the pump.
Can you hear the pump when the key is turned on? If yes replace the ignition module, if your not getting fuel replace your fuel pump, requires dropping the fuel tank.
Sounds like you might have a bad coolant tempurature sensor. Also, I would check to see if the fuel filter has been replaced. Is the check engine light is on?
where is the fuel filter in a 1994 lincoln town car?
