Yesterday the trunk on my 2005 Nissan Sentra would open with a key but not with the trunk release on the dash. Now the key will not even work - goes in but will not turn. How can I get the trunk open?
Same problem but the key wont go all the way into the trunk lock. Looks like I'm crawling through...Same problem but the key wont go all the way into the trunk lock. Looks like I'm crawling through...

There's a switch inside the trunk wear the trunk latches...It's some sort of safety thing. Switch it and it should work! These things always accidentally get switched the position you don't want it!

Put some oil in barrel of lock ,if this doesnt work after a day of soaking then go through back seat open boot and lubricate everything in sight and behind the panelling

may be manual release behind or under back seat and if not you may need to remove back seat and panal which should let you into trunk. once in there should be a release on the trunk inside to open it. most new cars have them to prevent someone from getting locked in trunk. after opened you may want to have lock system replaced or it could simply just need oiled....... hope this helps and good luck
this is strange. is there access to the trunk from the rear seat? if not the rear seat will need to be removed to get to the trunk and then there will be a pull ring that releases the trunk latch. it is a safety requirement on all cars to let someone get out of the trunk
Stick red nozzle of WD-40 in as far as you can in key hole & give a good spray, and give it a few minutes to start working then try key fob or key itself, or both at same time.. May take a few tries but you might get lucky. When/if you do get it open, spray back of that latch good with WD-40, then give it a few days & spray it with white lithium grease to help prevent same thing again in future.
check the hatch adjustment on the trunk when it is open. This may be causing the auto pop feature for your keyless and your trunk pop on your dash to the left of your steering wheel to not work. But your key should still be able to open it
