Volvo v40 lpg headlight bulb wont work, i have replaced the bulb with a working new one but to no avail. can anyone tell me what fuse this mite be on the fuse box as it does not say anythin about headlamp
If the fuse is OK it is probably Central Electronic Module. There are some relays in it that switch high-current deviced as headlights. The relays sometimes are dead after years of work. It is possible to replace only the relays (about 1 euro) instead of whole module (a few hundred euros at the dealer).

Run a new wire from opposite head light so it operates both, prob just bad connection due to corrosion.

There should be a cap or cover behind the lamp assembly under the hood. 1/4 turn counter clockwise (if it is a hard cap) should expose the bulb and retaining spring (clip). Squeeze the clip to release it from lamp assembly. unplug old bulb, plug in new and then do the opposite to replace it. Good luck, them clips is the devil.
