When slowing down high pitch noise Hyundai i30 2011

Accelerating, car goes ok, slowing down, braking is ok it's when I 'roll' to slow the car I hear a small 'crying' high pitch noise which starts high then slowly dies away once car fully slowed/stopped. Any idea of what it might be. Car is only 7,500 kms old, has had 2 services. Thanks in advance.

Yep!.. Typical with an engine cylinder misfire. Inspect the plug and ignition wire, especially the insulator. If you see a 'christmas tree' pattern on the insulator, that's where your problem is.

My car makes loud screeching noise when starting.

could be your serpentine belt. usually when they get worn they will start to either slip or cause a very high pitched screeching noise. to verify that is the cause get some water or brake clean in a spray bottle and spray it on to the belt while the vehicle is running. if the noise goes away for a moment you found your cause. if not then its something else. Hope this helps

High pitched whine

check condition of drive belt and check tension of the belt as it may be slipping under load at revs.

Makes high pitch whistle

Do you have the brakes taken apart once a year,
on all your vehicles, for rust removal, inspection,
needed work & lubing, that is required
Have to flush brake fluid every 2 years, if you
don't want moisture in the system ruining it
Don't know what the noise is,work on the
brakes & then get back to the noise, if it's
still there

Whistling Noise whilst driving

As with all unusable vehicle noise complaints it is important that the noise be listened to first hand, so have a shop test drive this with you on board to point out the noise to them when you hear it start in your vehicle

High pitch noise like a powerstering pump

When does this happen? When you're turning? When the car is cold? Under acceleration? I need more info before I can make any suggestions.

High pitched electronic/dentist drill sound when accelerating.

Probably the front differential, your probably hearing the famous differential gear whine. Change the oil, put Lucas for gears in it. You can get a hand operated oil pump to **** it out through the dip stick if it has one. Then fill it with the recommended amount.
