You will have to go under the dash and put your hand under the dash to feel where the switch is. It is one plug and two screw to replace the switch. Pull on the leaver and you will see where it hooks into. Just take it off, and boy a new one at the parts store. Are buy the new one first, to see what you look for. Then you will be on your way to replace it.

Head Lamps ON my 2000 Buick LeSabre quit working - Brites only work IF I hold Lever in , ALL other Lites work. ALL Fuses n Relays good Should I replace Lamp switch ?

Hi Ricky, Im AL the owner of Big As Auto Repair.

Ricky, if the high beams work when you hold the lever in, then its the high beam switch NOT the light switch. The lever controls the high and low beams. You need the multi-function switch which is also the dimmer switch. Hope this helps and please visit my auto-repair-website at: http://www.bigasautorepair.com/

2006 buick lacrosse low beams not working high beams only is i hold in the turn signal

this sounds like a bad dimmer switch not functioning. I would first check to make sure the rod that runs from the lever to the dimmer switch is traveling the complete length and is not out of adjustment.

How do i keep my high beams on?

If your high beams are controlled by your blinker lever if you pull.the lever towards you it will flash the high beams on. If you push the lever towards the front of the vehicle(dashboard) it should stay forward. Click it back towards you it will.go back to normal lights

How do you turn off high beams on a 1992 buick lesabre

To change the headlights from low beam to high or high to low, pull the turn signal lever all the way toward you. Then release it. When the high beams are on, this blue light on the instrument panel also will be on.
This works for a '93 LeSabre.
If not this, older cars often had a foot switch for bights-far upper left on the floor.

2001 buick regal 4 door - headlight flicker on and off. If they go all the way out, you can get them back on by kicking under the dash right above the brake pedal. I removed the cover but cant locate the...

Have you tried wiggling the turn signal lever when the problem occurs? I have seen multiple cases where the wiring inside the headlight high beam/turn signal switch melts and causes the problem you are describing. If you can wiggle the high beam/turn signal switch and CAUSE the problem, you have a defective high beam/turn signal switch.

The headlights are stuck on high beam.

pull on the signal lever toward you (ceter position). the signal lever controls the head lights either high beam or low beam. if you pull on the signal lever toward you again, you will have high beam temporarily. and if you push the signal lever towards the front, you will have the high beam locked.
