SRS Tata turns on the light of srs. Solution?

It's possible a bad sending signal....have Auto-zone to hook up the Diagnostic reading. It's free service they offer.

To reset the SRS light on an Acura Integra, pull down the SRS service connector. Unplug this connector so you have access to jump the harness. Start with the ignition OFF. Jump the SRS plug. Car not starting or turning over indicates towards multiple possibilities. It can be issue with battery or weak battery. But if battery checks out ok, then it can be starter issue or faulty alternator or problem with low fuel pressure or no spark at spark plugs due to dirty spark plugs or faulty ignition coil or injectors getting cracked or dirty and needs to be cleaned.

Only a compatible scanner is going to turn this off.Don't try to do it yourself, as with any air bag/srs (supplemental restraint system), these units contain what amounts to an explosive charge, and if not handled properly, by trained folks, they can very easily cause death, ansd a nasty one at that.As long as the system detects a snag, it will continue to turn that light back on, even if you do get it turned off. The system does a circuit check soon after the car is started, on this system, and the only way to turn off that light is to fix it. Could be as simple as a clockspring, so have it checked. This is one of the only things that I'm not really willing to give much info on, due to the potential for disaster. Sorry, it's just the old grease monkey looking out for your safety. Hi, you cannot turn it off rather you have to reset it by following the instruction below...

1. Turn ignition switch off, remove service connector cover.
2. Connect (jump) the MES (Memory Erase Signal) connector (this is 2 pin connector wrapped on yellow plugged in the front of the under dash fuse box).
3. Turn ignition switch on.
4. SRS light will come on for 6 secs then go out, remove the jumper within 4 secs after the light goes out..
5. The SRS light will come on again, reconnect the jumper within 4 secs after the light has come on.
6. The SRS light will go off, remove the jumper with in 4 secs after the light has gone off.
7. The SRS light will blink 2 times indicating the memory is reset.
8. Turn the ignition switch to off and wait for 10 seconds.

the SRS stands for Supplemental Restraint System. Most people call it the air bags but the SRS system includes all of the sensors and control units for air bags, seat belt pre-tensioners and passenger detection systems on cars that are equiped with themeach time you start the car up the SRS control unit will do a self-test of the system to make sure all of the sensors are working properly. The SRS light will stay on while that test is conducted. If all is well and everything passes the on-board test the light will go out in about 7 seconds. If something is wrong the light will stay on.whenever a failure is detected for any reason,the SRS light is turned on and the system is shut off. The air bags will not be deployed when the SRS light is on.They call it a Supplemental Restraint System because your seat belts are your primary restraint system.

I'm guessing you mean the SRS light, yes. When you have a bad battery the battery voltage can drop below 10 volts. The SRS unit detects this voltage loss and set a DTC (diagnostic trouble code) for an internal SRS unit failure. You have to erase the DTC memory. You'll need an SCS service connector tool (P/N 07PAZ-0010100) You can order one from your local honda dealer. Don't worry its not more than $10. Then you'll have to find the MES 2pin connector located in the upper right hand corner of the drivers underdash fuse box. It can be gray, green or yellow in color. 1.)Turn the ignition switch off. 2.)Unplug the MES connector from the fuse box and plug your SCS special tool into the MES connector. 3.) Turn the ignition switch on. 4.) The (red) SRS light in the dash will come on for 6 seconds and then go off. Remove the SCS tool from the MES (2P) connector within 4 sec. after the SRS light went off. 5.) The SRS light comes on again. Reconnect the SCS tool to the MES (2P) connector within 4 seconds after the SRS light came on. 6.) The SRS light goes off. Remove the SCS tool from the MES (2P) connector within 4 sec. 7.) The SRS light indicates that the memory is erased by blinking twice. 8.) Turn the ignition switch off and wait ten seconds. You may have to do this procedure a few time to get the steps correct. If this sounds to complicated I'm sure your local Honda dealer would be happy to reset the light for you for no charge. Just let them know that the battery was recently replaced and you think that the SRS light came on due to low battery voltage. -Hope this helps:)
