You can not have vapor lock on a fuel injected vehicle

The fuel either returns continually to the fuel tank
or is moving & sprayed thru the fuel injectors

Explain what the real issues are & what has been
done to correct

Check your gas cap. If someplace can test it you might luck out. This website advertises manuals and info online. The evaporator cannister is suppose to purify excess fuel vapors. But a system which is not sealed will code an error lamp.

SOURCE: Car not starting after car runs for a while and weather is hot

It sounds like a fuel pump issue. When the pump gets hot it stops producing, or produces less. I'd have it checked out.

1995 Ford e350 c-class rv shuts down in hot weather. Suspect fuel pump. Overheat. No one in town we broke in can fix or says 2 can we limp it home the 700 miles

The issue sounds like vapor lock, The temperature in the engine compartment is so high that the gasoline is turning to vapor in the gas line. There are not many options available in your situation except to travel at night when the temperature is lower. The problem is compounded by gasoline that has ethanol in it. A fuel pump that has low pressure can contribute to it and some people are able to control the return line pressure to help this.

Truck just dies when the weather gets hot

Try the ignition pick up inside the distributor, (not the coil) $35-$40 part. That should fix it over 75% of the time.
If its not that, its the vapor lock in the carburetor.

Why does my 1999 dodge intrupid smell like gas

The tank is vented to the intake manifold when the engine is running, and to a vapor canister when it is not. During hot weather the vapor canister can become overloaded with fumes.
Depending on where the smell is coming from, you could have a leaking vent hose or liquid fuel in the canister.

Not an expert here but hope this helps. I had an 85 GMC Van and the previous owner had installed an electric fuel pump in engine compartment. I too would stall when hot. I finally relocated fuel pump to underneath the van and it ran cool and no more vapor locks.

My 2000 ford explorer is stalling, misfiring and cutting off during hot weather driving....could it be a bad pcm, idle control value or something else

I had my 1999 xlt do this to me last month when we were having 95+ degree weather and I was driving in the mountains. It just stalled on me. I let it sit for a half hour and drove fairly slow with the windows down and no air. I was told that it vapor locked on me?? It hasn't acted up since. Who knows!
