Here you go..
Be sure that transmission fluid temperature is at least 104° F (40° C). Models with 2.2L engine: To access check/fill plug: In the engine compartment, remove clamp from air hose behind cooling fan. Separate air tube from the hose and push the tube back towards the transaxle. Remove the clip holding the two power steering lines together. All Models: From underneath vehicle remove the transaxle check/fill plug with engine running. Fluid level should be even with hole. Add fluid as needed until fluid flows from hole. Replace check/fill plug and torque to 9 ft. lbs. (12 Nm).

The water pump is on the front of the engine. Does it look like a hose leak?

If it is a 2.2 Auto it has a VT25E Trans,A really bad experiment from G.M.There is no dipstick. The only way to check it per service is to remove the center part of the main drain plug while running in park,if fluid drains or trickles out they say it's full. You probally have other Issues inside the trans.Check your mileage they have a special coverage period for this Trans through Saturn Dealer!! They May cover it or do a partial coverage for you.Hope this helps

I think your transmission is a 4T45E which does not have a typical dipstick. Check underneath the vehicle on the transmission case above the oil pan on the passenger side of the vehicle and you will see a pipe thread plug. The transmission must be at operating temperature on a level surface and the engine running, you then remove the plug and add new fluid in the fill hole until it runs out the removed plug. You will obviously need a catch basin and do not re-insert plug until fluid has stopped overflowing. Do not turn off the engine during the process.

Absolutely if it is an automatic transmission. You do need to use the right type for your product. If you do not change oil yourself, the lube shop should check the trans with each oil change while they do the rest of the work.
