I had an accident with my kia sephia 1996 car. since then when i turn the radio on it flashes "Hold" on the screen. I can't even enter the code which I used to enter before the accident when the radio screen flashed "Code" Pls help Thank You

The radio has it's own memory which is powered by the car's battery. I strongly suggest that you remove the positive battery connector and leave it for atleast a minute then put it back on. This will reset the stereo system. Try punching in the code again.

Maybe go to the owner's section of kia.com to get the instructions on how to enter a code to make the radio work. That's how honda works, anyway.

Please perform the following procedures while the car is parked. Otherwise you risk getting into an accident while your attention is not focused on the driving. Entering anti-theft code The following is the procedure to re-activate the radio if the display shows "SAFE". It is important that the procedure be followed in the correct order.

1. Turn on radio. The radio display shows "SAFE".
2. Press the FM1/2 and DX buttons simultaneously and hold until "1000" shows on the display. Release the buttons. Do NOT press these buttons again, otherwise the radio will consider "1000" to be the code.
3. Use Preset buttons 1 ... 4 to enter the four-digit code number from your radio card. Preset button 1 corresponds to the first digit, Preset button 2 corresponds to the second digit, etc. Each press of the button increments the number by 1.
4. Once the code shown on the display is correct, press the FM1/2 and DX buttons simultaneously and hold until the word "SAFE" appears in the display, then release the buttons.
5. The radio should unlock and be usable shortly afterwards.
6. If an incorrect code is entered, the word "SAFE" appears, first flashing and then continuously. You can repeat the above steps to unlock the radio once more, the number of attempts will be shown in the display. If an incorrect code is entered again, you radio will be locked for about one hour. After one hour - the radio must stay on and the key must remain in the ignition lock - if the display goes out, the you can repeat the above procedure to unlock again. The cycle - two attempts, one hour lock-up - still applies.
7. If you lose your radio code, contact your Audi dealer.

under the intake manifold towards the firewall attatched to the transmission take intake manifold braket off it should have one bolt on the bottom and two on the top connected to the intake manifold then the starter will be to the left of that if your under the car its almost impossible to reach from above the car. three bolts will hold the starter in then disconnect and it should pop right out.

You will need to contact the dealer. Radio codes are only supplied thru the dealer or you can search online for places that sell the code.

Chances are you will need to pay for the code or replace the radio with one that is an upgrade with no code needed.

try autozone.com to see if they have your car listed for diagrams pictures and step by step instructions if your car is not listed then try your local library they have all the car manuals and even copy them for you

What means half juice ? If is about level, it means almost dry, so change it. If means amperage (tested by an cranking amperage tester), is not enough, so change it.

Radio keeps saying enter code.
