Windsheild Wiper Fluid will not squirt on windshield

My 1994 Jeep Cherokee Sport windshield wiper fluid will not squirt out. It was working fine until I filled the thing that holds it. The wipers still work and it is squirting on the back window but not the front. Thanks.

The window wipers won't squirt out water to help clean the windows, wipers work but there seems to be a leakage in the hose somewhere maybe? Want to know how to take off the front light to get inside to fix it.

While you were filling the tank you may have disconnected the pump wires. If you can hear the pump activating when you use the switch then the pump may have gotten clogged , check for sediment in the tank.  For the person with the mustang - if its only coming out of one side then its a nozzle clogged or a pinched hose.

Sprayers are clogged up. You can clean out the sprayers with a needle, some have two holes so look carefully.

Windshield wiper fluid does not squirt out

go to a service station with an air compressor and with the air turned down to about 20 lbs blow into the washer top small hole to force fluid thru the hoses, not a lot of pressure so you blow hoses off or rupture something

My 96 Jeep GC windshield washer isn't squirting. I can hear it run when pushing the washer button and I hear fluid running ; but it doesn't spray on the windshield. Also , my wiper blade in the rear window...

your rear wiper motor might be faulty,in the front i would check your fluid level-if it is full and you hear the pump running-check your washer lines to see if they are pinched-usually around where the hood closes

Windsheild Wiper Fluid will not squirt on windshield

I just fixed the wiper jets on my car this evening - you may have a similar problem of having hardened gunk (deposits) blocking the sprayer. Removing them is relatively easy: Open your hood and note that there is most likely a vibration-dampening cloth/fabric secured to the inside of the hood. You will need to remove the round discs that are holding this in place (most likely Christmas tree plugs - there are around 8 or so). Once removed, you will have access to the back of the sprayers. Some are held in with a nut, others are clipped in to place. You can remove the sprayers and try cleaning them or you can replace them with new ones (relatively cheap and guaranteed clog-free).
