Hi, I have a cracked passenger side mirror on my 2007 Hyundai Accent Hatchback that I need to replace. Just the mirror/glass is damaged, not the casing, and the motor works fine still. I've heard I can simply buy the glass at a parts store and replace it myself. Is that correct, if so what roughly is the cost and how easy is it to do? Thanks!
Hi from uk answer is yes the mirror glass can be bought on its own at least here in the uk HALFORDS do a selection of these for various models also a mirror glass that simply sticks to the cracked glass full surface by a backing of double sided glued cushion pad so assume your location will have these at motor supermart ? if not then you can do as i have done in past ? make a card template of mirror then cut or have cut ? your own mirror then double sided tape will do the same job?
