Very slow acceleration, at stops engine revs to 3000 rpm then instantly drops to almost stall idle. sounds like engine is misfiring and ver dim headlights

My car was doing this pretty bad and I changed the engine coolant temp sensor and it fixed my problem. Hope this helps!!

Put the car in the darkest environment you can and with the engine at idle, look around the high voltage leads; plug wires, etc.
I replaced my lousy leads after about 2 years.
If you have a multimeter, you may be able to isolate one or more bad leads by measuring their resistance.
It should be ~7-10Kohms, mine were nearly open (infinite) on two.
