Problem with the idle of my 2002 Mazda Tribute. On a erratic basis the vehicle will not idle, and will die whenever you are not giving it gas. Nothing in particular seems to cause the problem, and it has been going on for years, but not on a consistent basis, only lately has it become more frequent. The OBD II code listed is a P1507 Mod $10 1 of 1 which reads "Idle Air Control Underspeed detected". What does this mean, and how can I fix it?
SOURCE: idle air control
The Idle Air valve is connected to the throtle body by two metal screws. I got it fixed by cleaning and lubricating it. You do have to remove the wiring clip. There is no idle control except for this device. I have noticed that I had to do it twice to completly fix it. Also check the egr valve.

Sounds like it could possibly be a vaccume problem, the computer sees that the vaccume has a low pressure and thus fludding the engine, or visa versa, it's seeing too high of a pressure and cutting the fuel comsumption to a minumum enough to make the engine sputter and die.. Does this happen when the cars in Netural or Reverse or Park? Just Drive?

Hey,
take a look at www.airbagmodul.com
They're working in Airbag-Simulators and Occupancy Sensor-Simulators.
