Pull the battery and have it tested by any Autozone or O'reilly auto parts, it is free. Clean and inspect the battery cables for corrosion or swelling of the outer insulter, replace as needed and then recheck.

If you are completly without power for anything, you are most likly looking at a bad ground wire. Check the ground on the battery and follow the negative battery cable down to where it connects to the engine. Below are 2 pictures as I am not sure which engine size you have. The first is the location of that main ground from the battery for the 4.0 liter engine and the second is the location for the 2.5 liter engine. Sounds as if it's as simple as that if you are not getttting anything at all. Hope this helps.....

Sounds like your battery is deeply drained. Take off the negative cable (or remove battery) and put it on a battery charger on the 2 amp setting. Let it charge for 8-12 hours. If your battery is good, it should be charged up now.
Does your alternator/battery light go off when Jeep is running? If it stays on, there is a charging problem-have the alternator tested.

Your problem is likely a bad battery and/or corrosion on the battery terminals. Remove the cables from the battery terminals and clean them with a wire brush or other tool. NOTE: always remove the negative cable first and reconnect it last. Reconnect the cables and then try to start/jump the vehicle again. If that doesn't clear the problem, take the battery to your local auto parts store or supplier and have them check it. You will probably need a new one.

First clean the battery terminals & their connection to the battery. Check to see if the alternator belt is tight. Once started, connect an amp. meter to thebattery terminals. Black to black, red to red. If the reading is over 13.2, alternator is charging. If it is not, change the alternator. If it is over 13.2, you may need a new battery. Have a load test done at any reputable automotive store. Hope this helps & if it does please do the right thing & recommend this advice. Thanks
SOURCE: jeep alarm will not turn off
The ignition security on/off is located at the trunk lock. unlock and lock rear gate and the alarm will turn off. My jeep sat in my drive for a month before a jeep tech told me this. It still triggers the security sometimes when I unlock the passenger door with the key and I go straight to the rear gate lock and it shuts off instantly.
