Toyota Echo Radio Code Help - 2000 Model

Hi Guys,

Battery went flat on the car, and changed the battery out, only to find radio now says "SEC" I went though the owners manual, radio manual, and cannot seem to locate any numbers.

What should i do ?

Go into Toyota and take your registration with some form of Picture ID and for a fee they will be able to get you the code for that radio. Good Luck

in security mode when battery was replaced you or who was ever replacing it didnt set it in off mode which is so it doesnt think it being stolen and yours does ---dealer with vin and proof of ownership for your code to enter

Some dealers put the radio's antitheft code in the owners manual. If it's not there call your local dealer and they can reset the code for a fee.

Emissionwiz is correct, but, his information is for older Model Camrys.

The 2003 "factory-installed" radios in the Camry product line does not have an anti-theft feature, and, because of having no anti-theft feature, there is no reactivation code. If you have a dead battery, the only thing you will lose regarding the radio functions would be the radio stations that you programmed into the memory. The radio will function properly after a dead battery is replaced with no issues.

if you have the service books there should be a card with the code. if you dont you need to go to a toyota dealer the can give you the code they need full details of car
