SOURCE: Lexus Cd-Changer

lol had this prob so many times, you will find that you have moisture in the cd exchanger and the way i found this out was on removing my cds first thing in the morning a noticed very slight misting on most of the cds. .i put the wifes hair dryer and blasted warm air into it for a good 15 minutes waited till it cooled down cleaaned carefully my cds replaced and away i went. hasten to add that this was temporary a few days later i got the odd cd not playing . i notice the prob more in cold weather and if the car has not been used for a few days. the boot maybe damp .. good luck .stu

SOURCE: cd changer not playing

Check fuses. There are two fuses to this stereo. One that hold memory for the clock and stereo preset buttons and one for turning the stereo on. There are usually two fuse boxes, on inside the vehicle and one under the hood near the car's battery. Again, check ALL fuses. One is usually labeled for the radio/stereo, the other is not.
As for the CD changer, disconnect one of the main car battery terminals for several minutes. This is easier then removing the changer and acts as a reset. Possibley bringing the changer back to working condition. Otherwise, this could be a repair issue, see www.carstereohelp.com

How to change air cond. filter lexus gs300 2000, has 6 disc cd changer where everyone says filter is.

It should be behind the glove box which you have to remove to get access to the filter door.
Is the CD changer directly behind the glove box ? Because in my car the changer is above the main part of the box, not behind it.

Cd magazine is not gettting any power cannot eject the cd changer is that a fuse problem?

The fuse is the first one that should be checked for these types of situation since it is a cheap and easy fix. Other sources of this problem could be bad wiring or a bad unit.

2006 Lexus IS250- I have a six disc changer and the cd's are stuck. Will not eject them and they have moved them into other spots so the radio shows it only haveing 3 but there are 6 cd's in the changer....

It is a internal CD Changer Problem, there is no way to get them out unless you dissassemble the Changer. Your best bet is to remove the Changer and take it into a Car Audio Repair Shop and have them take a look at it.

What fuse goes with radio display and cd?

the fuses are located under the hood, and under the right and left side of the dash, under covers. this problem is usually not the fuse but the unit itself. most times the unit needs replaced.

No CD changer

I wonder if the person you got the vehicle from knew there was no CD changer, but never look a gift horse in the mouth. Any brand CD changer should be able to work with your in-dash controller unit. You do not need to pay an arm and a leg to the dealer for a new unit, or risk purchasing a questionable used unit. I highly recommend Crutchfield.com for selection, price, and support.

CD changer will not accept CD's

I got the ERROR 3 on my Lexus RX330 2004 CD changer, and fixed this problem myself. My CD changer now works fine for more than one month after the repair, and hopefully will continue to work in the future )))) First, I opened top cover of changer ( about 8 screws ). Next step is most difficult - need to detach 4 tiny springs on top corners that hold metal top plate and keep them in the same place not allowing them to fall down (detach the spring, then hook the top with paper clip as to not let the bottom come detached and lose the spring inside). I used paper clips for holding the springs on the coners of the metal frame. Next need to take the metal plate out and then all plastic CD trays with CDs, the plastic trays may jam a little when being lifted out, but they will come out. Take all CDs and don't use them in the changer anymore. Seems the CD changer doesn't like CD-R's. So, use original CDs. Actually I an going to record new CD's using good blank media from good manufactures, will try to see whats gonna happen. So, take out all plastic CD trays keep them in order and facing the right way. After removing all CDs put all things back. Do everything very gently because all parts very precise and easy to break. The cd changer showed "Error 3" for the rest of the evening but then next day was fine and has been working fine since then. I think the computer had to be reset overnight to clear that error.
