SOURCE: xj40 1990 sov, brakes rock

If the pedal is rock hard with the engine running it is most likely the accumulator and the click noise is coming from the relay under the dash driver side is most likely the main Yellow relay

My 2005 Hyundai Elantra looks disgusting. The clear paint is peeling off all over the back section of the car. This car is electric blue, and not yet 6 years old! What has caused this. Paint/panel guys...

Deterioration of the clearcoat can be caused from several things, not the least of which is the environment, such as acid rain or air polution. Usually it is caused from lack of maintenance, such as not using a protective wax or polish regularly. I have seen instances where too much polishing with a power buffer caused the clearcoat to wear away. Or it could just be a poor factory paint job. Lots of those around. Shop around for a good price on repaint. Where I am from, there is a paint and body business call MAACO that will repaint a car very cheaply. Their paint jobs don't last more than a couple of years, but they look really good when fresh. You may find someone who paints cars as a hobby, or second income. They usually do decent work for little profit. Check the want ads and local bulletin boards. You may be surprised at how affordable a new paint job can be.

2008 Dodge Nitro Canada

I hate to say, being 2008 and have that many miles, from my experienced working many years at many dealership, your fighting against a brick wall, you can threat them with all kind of law suit, all it will come down to is repaint and that is the best they will do. I hate to say that they going to make you run around in a circle by the time they have exhausted you, you will settle just for a paint job. Those machine from factory, I wish I can say its an excellent job it does but you going to get some defect. In you case if you take it a good paint shop and highly recommended, than you will get allot better paint job than a factory and you shouldn't even have a problems with it and the new paint job will probably outlast other parts compair factory paint on your car. good luck..and I hope that help some

1990 4.0 jag sov lifters making noise

No real worry, try adding some Marvel oil to it or using a decent synthetic oil. Either, or both should help get any gunk out of the hydraulic part of the lifters, and neither will do any harm. Don't expect the noise to disappear instantly though, it took a long time to get that way. Don't use any heavy additive or single grade oil (like 40 weight) That will jam up the oil control rings on your pistons.

1994 acura integra--Paint job.

Surface rust can be worse than it appears so then in that case, the bad spots will have to be cut out and new metal welded in its place. (Look at the rust from underside of the panel--moisture gets there and rusts from the inside out) Paint chips can be sanded down. As far as a quote, here in southeast Missouri ...it would be $1600-$1700 for a full body paint job.

1988 300zx non turbo, i have coolant and steam pouring into the passenger side of my car when it warms up. is that the heating coil and where exactly is it?

That does sound like a heater core issue. It's buried inside the dashboard on the passenger side - you'll likely have to remove the entire dashboard to access it. If you look under the hood, back at the firewall on the passenger side, you should see two hoses coming out of the firewall and into the back of the engine - these come out of the heater core.

It's a job that anyone with some basic knowledge and a decent set of hand tools can definitely do at home, but it's labor-intensive and will take quite awhile. Plan for a full day and maybe part of the next to do the job.
