There is a whirling sort of grinding sound coming from the rear end of the car. It's loudest starts at 35-50 mph and again at 60-70 mph. Above 75mph it's almost gone. The curiosity is that when taking a wide curve at 50 mph, the sound all but disappaears. ?? The front & rear diffs have had their fluids changed with the correct oils & additives. And just recently, the traction control TC & ABS warning lights are on as well ?? Coincidence? I checked the bearings - but there wasn't a wiggle (I didn't spin - I should have) Thanks for any help - Gil M.

Sounds like they may have left something disconnected like the ABS/ Traction control wheel sensor, make them fix it!!

try taking it to a auto parts store were they can clear all the codes for free the trouble codes that is then the light should stay off

You can check out what the trouble code is by pushing and holding the information button and the up arrow (right side of instrument cluster above the radio) until all the instrument clusters light. Press the information button (last) to enter test mode. I've had an error C1234, meaning Left rear wheel sensor fault. I found the problem to be a corroded connector under the chasis just under the rear left door about 2 feet in. I had to by-pass (replace 1 wire due to corrosion at the connector.
