S reg.Z3 roadster leaks rainwater through door windows when using hood. Slightly less when hard top in situ. Is there a simple cure.

Check the seals around windows and tops. They may be too old and need replacing. Also check alignment of seals with the window. Could be putting top up and down has them slightly out of place.

Mk1 Roof goes down but not up

I would try a new relay anyway sometimes they will route the circuit through different points of the relay. I also would check the up/down switch itself to make sure it is working on both sides I had the same problem on a window switch for a car I was working on. Just because one side of the switch works doesn't mean the other side does. If the relay and switch are both good then I would switch the wires on the up/down switch to see if it functions then you are basically checking the continuity of the switch again but this time you will be able to tell if the switch is able to handle the amperage also required to operate the motor. You can read 12 volts

Power window open partially with inside or outside

inside the mechanical lock (The part that actualy holds the door shut when you close it) there is a switch that informs the control unit that the lock is either locked or unlocked.
These switches fail sometimes, when this happens the control unit is not aware that you have opened the door, and therefor will not wind the window down slightly.
The switch is integral with the lock unit, and they are not easy things to replace either.

THE WINDOW ON MY AUDI TT DRIVERS SIDE NO LONGER OPENS SLIGHTLY WITH THE DOOR OPENING AND DOESNT OPEN OR SHUT AUTOMATICALY

There is a door switch inside the handle area that needs to be replaced. This is a common problem. If you search on www.audiworld.com or http://forums.vwvortex.com/zeroforum?id=10 you may find more info.

Audit TT 2002

I've never inspected the TT for this so I'm only guessing at it, but I can tell you some things to look at based on my knowledge of my A4. On my A4 there are two screws at the top of the door panel, on the sides, which have to be removed. After that, there's a screw inside the "pull handle" of the door, where you grab to pull the door shut. The inner part of the pull handle then slides down and out, exposing two final screws. Once those are removed, the door panel lifts up and off the door. You can check the same locations on your car and see if it's set up the same, but I can't promise you'll find it to be just like mine.
