A chime dings twice, from any movement, from closing door, using turn signals, braking, etc. It doesn't always do it, sometimes only when started. Sometimes it goes off only a few times, sometimes every minute, even while driving on highway, and not touching anything. We just purchased a couple of weeks ago, so don't know how long it's been doing it. ANY help or suggestions, would be greatly appreciated!! If not, I will surely go batty!! hahaha Thanks in advance for your time and patience.

you will need to have the cluster (guages) repaired or replaced. (for the vibration). You will need to do this first.
They also have problems with the fuel level sensor in the tank, the contacts corrode and will give false readings. BUT this will not cause the guage to vibrate as you have described.

hi, the problem you are having sounds like an imobilser problem does your key have a fob that unlocks the doors etc check this is working if it is then the problem could be with the key itself as they are programmed so that if somebody used a different key in the ignition it wouldnt allow the car to start.
The only way of knowing for sure is by taking it to a main dealer because the imobilser problems wont show up on a diagnostics machine the main dealer will be able to test the key or fob for you they should test it for free but if it needs replacing then you will have to pay for this unless its a common fault if it is common problem with that make and model they will replace this for free.
im sorry their is no easy fix for this problem but it is more than likely your imobiliser if it was say something like starter motor your car wouldnt have cut off whilst running so it points to an imobiliser problem so get this checked.
Let me know how you get on or if you require further assistance ok

Could be the latch mechanism for the door is sticking. You could try using some white grease on the latch and the contact where the latch hooks to. You can purchase the grease from most auto parts stores. You will not need to use alot. Just apply a small amount to the mechanisim and then work it in using the manual handle. Then open and close the door several times to feel the "action". Then apply a little more and repeat. This should loosen the latch and get it working again. Also make sure that none of the tension springs have come loose on the latch. And check the seal around the door and make sure it is not pinched and has a proper fit.
