SOURCE: replacing passenger side mirror on 2005 toyota corolla.

I did exactly that on my Corolla CE recently. Pop the triangular plastic shield out on the inside, remove three nuts, disengage the electric line if you see one and that's it. If you want to get more specifics look the procedure up in the Haynes repair book for Corollas 2003-2005. By the way, the mirrors on Corrollas have, as so often, been constructed by people who never drove these cars. Mirrors get hit on and there should be a joint that allows the mirrors to fold inward. The Corrolla mirrors are still; they have no joint, so when they get hit they push the metal they are mounted on inward and later on you have a poor fit after chnaging them. These American-made Corrollas are in many respect the same **** as other American-made cars.

SOURCE: Replace 2007 Toyota Rav4 super sport passenger side door mirror

On the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then you'll need to manipulate the panel and disconnect the door handle linkage from the door handle and disconnect the wiring for your controls. Then you can access the bolts that secure the mirror onto the door

Video how to to change the blower fan on toyota Echo 2002

This blower fan in the 2002 Toyota Echo is located under the dashboard on the passenger side of the vehicle. It is covered by a plastic panel that snaps into place and shields the motor from accidental damage. When the blower fan fails, air will not come out of the vehicle's vents despite the fan control speed setting. A replacement blower motor can be purchased from a certified Toyota dealerships or any auto parts store

My 2003 toyota echo passinger side mirror will not adjust it just falls forward. It is the type that is manual but has an adjustment knob inside the car. How do I replace it? The whole unit?

It sounds like you may have to replace the entire unit. There are rods inside the housing that connect to the back of the mirror itself. These rods are what allows you to control the mirror and are also what's suppose to keep the mirror stationery. It sounds like the clips have separated.

On the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Same problem. motor works

adjust your mirror to center with your hand manually and try the switch again. if it still dosn't work switch to the other side mirror and see if the other side goes up/down. if it does then replace the side that's not going up and down....you have to replace the whole assembly. can't just replace motor.

Replacing only the driver side mirror w/o replacing the assembly.

You should be able to just replace the mirror as long as its flat.

I need to replace my driver side mirror, cause broke

For paint, take your paint code off the inside lip of your dirver side door. Take the number to your local autoparts store, and get the matching paints (unless you need a custom job as in metallic flake). You'll need a clear coat as well as your base.e0fde83.jpg
