The compressor is located in a sealed housing which is mounted in the spare wheel well. The housing is secured by four bolts into threaded inserts.

How to reset air suspension in a 2003 range rover

This assumes the suspension has failed in some way. The cause could be a loose air line, a leaking air spring, the valve block, the compressor or the computer. Only a dealer or specialised LR shop can reset the computer, but you need to determine and fix the cause first

I have a 2003 Range Rover HSE, I have an air suspenion inactive message on the dash cluster. The rear of the truck is lifted very high, with one side of the front lower then the other. I also notice that...

Releasing all pressure in the system can be achieved by removing the fuse to the suspension compressor and carefully loosening any airline in the system and letting the car bottom out, This will not fix anything. Without a good diagnostic computer check all the ride level sensors first, easy to check with a voltmeter for continuity.

I can't figure out how to get at the pump

Remove Jack from front left hand fender area. There are 3 rubber grommets that attach to the vacum compressor , which you will see If you look immediately beneath the compressor location.Feed these grommets back up into the compressor location area from beneath, and hey presto you have loosened the vacum pump for removal.
Compressor is accessed by 2 large holes in bottom plate upon which the tyre jack sits.It will pull out through these holes with a bit of manouvering.Be warned its like doing keyhole surgery.

Range rover air suspension stoped working

Range rovers are notorious for air susp issues, over the years I have had several issues. Unfortunately a lot of the time even the dealers fix these by accident. Range Rovers.net is a good site for a lot of issues, that can be checked without testbook. To start check the easy stuff. If the car is a 2003-on the compressor is under spare tire, height sensors can fail and can be checked with a voltmeter, check all air lines and valves. Good luck

I have 1999 range rover suspention no work

The compressor just could be damage internally .
I would just loose a line off the compressor . Then put power to the compressor again. You should feel air coming out the line.

So if the air is coming out of the line. The system has check valves through out , or the air suspension shocks are probably leaking . I would then take to the dealer for the repairs or your local shop

Good Luck

Land Rover Range Rover

u can use a compressor to lift the car, manually insert to air pipe. if there is no leak in the system the car will stay up. but this for emergency only.

u need to send the car to workshop for proper repair.

the reason u cannot lift the car is pump is faulty, leak in the system, relay problem.
