Its a manual, the shifter was stuck close to reverse position but it would not reverse so it wasn't actually in gear, I got it unstuck, tried to push it out and then drive it forward, it wont go in first, I have to start it in 2nd, it wont go in third, had to skip from 2-4 then I turned around and went home because I didn't want to cause more damage, I'm clueless

you need to have the shifting cable lubricated or replaced.
SOURCE: Seat adjustment forward and back stuck
the lever has a wire that connects to the other side of the seat track make sure that wire is still connected.

Sorry but this is far too complex a fault to be able to solve remotely. There's the added complication that nobody on FixYa has any way of knowing whether the transmission rebuild was done properly, or was just a cheap replacement of a few obvious broken/worn parts and a fresh coat of paint. There is no such thing as a cheap rebuild, so if that's what you had then that's what you got. A good rebuild takes time and money and that's why a good rebuild usually comes with a warranty which gives the same or similar protection to a brand new Honda original. By contrast, cheap rebuilds are usually only good enough to enable you to sell a faulty car to the next unsuspecting owner.
If you had a proper tranny rebuild then contact the company which did the work as your fault might still be under warranty.
If you're lucky, it's just the shifter linkages which have disconnected or have broken/worn bushings but you'll only find out by getting the car to a garage for proper diagnosis.
Testimonial: "Thank you, the tranny had a year warranty still when i bought car from original owner. It was a reputable shop"
