Electrial problems never saw this one

1992 dodge caravan 3.0L A.T. check engine light came on then 15 minutes later battery light and check gauges came on...pulled into parking space air bag light came on ...turned off engine tried to restart dead battery...jumped one time it ran about 5 minutes stalled again dead battery

    Similar problem. Check engine light came on. Cycled ignition switch and got codes 12 and 41. Called dearlership, has to do with ignition coil, ECU or a bad wire somewhere in that system. Need more data on it to pinpoint problem.
    Voltage gauge bottomed out two days ago. Alternator and battery are fine.
    Any ideas?

Sounds like the alternator has stopped charging or has bad connection at battery

    when certain "data" falls out of its parameters, it will signal a lite on the instrument panel to warn driver.

Drove through a puddle,power steering out and temp gauge on high, battery light on
I've seen it happen many times on the older Caravans, if you hit a really deep puddle, the splash can knock the accessory drive belt off of its pulleys. You can just gently pry the belt back on, consult a service manual for detailed installation directions.

Take it to Autozone and let them check it to see what code shows up. They wont clear it for you, but you can do it your self by disconnecting the negitive battery cable and reconnect it after 30 minutes.
