Both sides (drivers and passenger) brake lights (on a two filament bulb) do not come on when the brake is pressed... But on the same bulb the "tail lights" come on. Third "rear window brake light" does come on when brake is applied. Bought brand new bulbs (at the very least I know the one filament works that illuminates the tail lights) and checked / switched out fuses and they were all fine. Any other thoughts?
The brake light side of the bulbs is powered by the brake switch and travels thru the turn signal switch.
If the third brake light works, I would guess the problem is in the turn signal switch.

Well Jennifer, it sounds like you've done all the things that I'd have done. Try for a bad ground next. Do the lights in the dash cluster work? They're wired together with the tail-lights (so that you know if the rears go out). There should be a ground wire somewhere connecting the body to the engine or chassis.Look around the rear of the engine bay. Good Luck.

Replace the right rear brake lamp. The bulb possible use two filaments one for brake and tail light. One burnt out filament in one bulb.

Auto light shut off is a relay that is basically a timer.
Replace it .
