There are several steps to take in order to recharge your A/C system. First try to figure out why your system is low on refrigerant. Make sure there are no oil stains in your refrigerant piping if so you have a leak on your system and that needs to be addressed prior to recharging. If no leak then buy a can of refrigerant at your local automotive store preferredly with a charging hose that has a dial.. (you dont need the big cans, a small one should be enough just for recharging) Locate and disconnect the low pressure hose cap on the access port. ( usually the thicker or bigger tube of your A/C system) Shake refrigerant can vigorously about 30 secs. attach the charging hose to the can (leave hose in the CLOSED position) Turn on your vehicle and start your A/C system on full cool setting. Set the dial attached to the hose to the current outdoor temperature. Open the hose and you should start feeling the can getting cold. (This means that your A/C system is taking charge) Charge until dial reaches the current temperature setting you placed earlier while maintaining charge under the green setting of the dial. (Do not keep charging if bordering the red setting on dial) Once finished CLOSE the hose and then turn off your A/C and your vehicle. Disconnect hose and place cap back on access port. Hope this helps.

I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM. I TOOK THE AIR FILTER HOSE OFF THE CARBARATOR AND ADDED CARBARATOR CLEANER. PUT IT BACK ON, AND WORKED. TRY THAT.
