You should pull that plug out and check it's condition carefully. Also that spark plug wire may be broken internally. Try a new or different spark plug and spark plug wire first and see if that helps.

SOURCE: Wiper motor replacement for a 99 crown vic

I replaced the same part on a 1994 Crown Vic. There are a few bolts which go through rubber mounts on the firewall and that is how the wiper motor fits against the firewall. There is a clip on the wiper drive that must be pressed and slid off the wiper shaft. The hardest part was getting clearence between the engine and wiper motor. If I remember there was a way to turn the wiper case to clear the engine. I have asked myself why this was engineered like this? There is nothing important in the way that 3/4" of clearance could have been given for removal.

SOURCE: 1991 Firebird 305 V8 TBI won't start

ok, here goes, i also have a 305 tbi.. i know it sucks to reach things on them, but you have to know how... i have headers on my bird and that gives them about 2 mm of clearance for the bolts, and i recently replaced the heads and alot of gaskets and such..
The front spark plugs you should be able to reach from the top, but for the back plugs and wires you may have to jack the car up and come from the bottom.. (the only way) .. now on to the timing.. remove the distributor cap and you will notice the rotor bug.. next you will need to remove the number one spark plug..(closest to front driver side of car) now put your finger over the spark plug hole while you have someone crank the engine.. you will be able to feel compression.. when the hole pushes your finger back with air, notice which direction your rotor bug is facing and make a mark.... this approximation will be where to connect the number one plug wire on the distributor.. put the distributor cap back on hook up the number 1 plug wire to the plug and continue clockwise with the firing order... firing order is written on intake just below front of air filter it shoul be like 18436572 or somethin like that.. after you check, your plugs and wires and ensure good connection. you can take a 7/16 end wrench and loosen your distributor.. have someon cranking and holding gas while you slightly turn the distributor back and forth until it sounds good.. be careful don't turn very far it can cause the engine to back fire and without the air filter on the gas will ignite and cause a small fire... (This could be your only problem because if the distributor is moved at all the firing process will become all screwed up)

How do i set my timing without timing light nissn sentra 140gxi

Find out which piston is #1 in firing order
Take out that spark plug
Insert a long dowel rod
Rotate engine with a ratcheting wrench
Note and mark on dowel the highest and lowest point of travel
The highest point is "top dead center" in relation to your timing.
But only every other time it comes to top dead center is it in configuration to fire, the other time it is in the exhaust stroke.
If you pull the valve cover and look at the valves as you are doing this you will see which stroke is which by watching the intake and exhaust valves open and close
Good luck

01 crown vic p71 do i need a new oil pump .. Gauge jumps up and down. Motor has vibration

Tough to say. The lifter making the noise could be allowing oil pressure to escape. Or it may be dry for oil because oil is not getting to it.
You may have to take the lifters out to see if it is a lifter problem or lack of oil.

How do i know if my timing jumped on a 2002 crown vic

The timing on all 96 and newer vehicles is computer controlled so its very rare for one to jump time. One thing bothers me you said you can see spark coming from one of the top of the plug, thats a problem.Check the plug wires because you must have one bad if you can see it.If they are all in bad shape replace them then see how it runs,it might just fix all the problems.

My 2002 crown vic started backfireing then would not start seems to not be getting any gas could this be my coil pack?

It sounds more like a timing belt has failed.
check for spark at the spark plugs
If there is no spark you can have the coils tested
But i till think timing belt due to the back fire and then the no run
