I put in more fluid,it workrd for about 1 hr,we turned it on and off a few times at different times, all worked great with plenty of cold air,a few hrs later we checked it and it will not start the pump
You may have a leak, the compressor will not turn on till it sees pressure
in the system (if it leaked out it wont turn on )
could take your low pressure switch off and jump the plug for a minute to see if the copressor comes on. sure fire way to tell you have a leak.
Also do not leave the jumper on the plug. If you do have a leak you could seize your compressor from lack of oil,

Did the problem start when the fuel pump was replaced? It could be some kind of obstruction in the fuel line or a fuel filter acting up - needing replaced, or the filter on the fuel pump somehow didn't get installed correctly. Spend $20 and get a Haynes Repair Manual from Auto Zone to show you step by step instructions with pictures how to troubleshoot just about anything for your make and model.

Hello Joey325,
Look under the hood on the fire wall behind the engine there is a black cover with 3 tall black what look like nuts. remove them and you will see a relay center, now there should be a brown wire marked timing may be not marked but pretty sure its brown just unplug it and go from there. I sure hopes that gets you going and thanks for using

I have the same problem exactly, if i turn off the ignition and then turn it back on it begins blowing cold air again. I would like to know what the problen is as it sounds like it is not unique to just my vehicle.

The problem may be that it has 55 psi instead of 60-65. Could be the fuel pressure regulator or the fuel pump itself. I have read that these engines need 60 psi minimum to start reliably. Also with the engine off, look down the throttle body with a flashlight and see if the intake appears wet inside, indicating leaking central injectors. There is an upgraded injector assembly available with pressure regulator at autoparts stores. Requires 4-5 hours to replace with experienced mechanical skill level. Would definately upgrade if the pressure regulator needs replaced anyway.
