NOT TOLD (vast) if are starts and drives good.
and the cluster Gen/Charge/battery lamp is out engine running:?
if the battery is not charged fully (above 10v) the BCM goes MAD.
the battery is at 11 to 15vdc running or the ALT is dead. (or fuse to it)
IN THE OLDEN DAYS THE FAST FLASH ,TELLS US THE LAMP OR WIREs TO THEM ARE
SHORTED (OVERLOADED!)
and on this car means check fuses and scan me now.
On some modern cars even more smarter, the BCM does the same thing and if you scan the PCM and see DTC for lighting errors are
diagnostics trouble codes, (errors) to fix first.
2006
is useless here,
no car told at all maker , model and COUNTRY
not told.
the newest cars have no lamp fuses at all, nor any relays and no relic flasher modules.
the BCM brain does it all with magic software and current regulators to each and every lamp feed,
even 8 or 12 more feeds,
I guess the hazard flasher switch is bad too.
recap.
- make sure battery is fully charged,
- make sure engine cranks ,starts and runs and drives
- make sure GEN lamp is no glowing!!!!!
- all fuses good. we test them.
- and scan the cars OBD2 scan port,no country told so. I guess this. if savvy tell your country as cars are no the same world wide at all. for sure lighting !!!
these vehicles require an agm style battery to start with. secondly they also have electrical draw issues with various modules in the car. you need to do a draw test to find the electrical draw if that is the issue. does the car have comfort access? where do you leave the keys while it is parked?
