I bought a 2003 ford explorer ,used ,no manual, when i first got it drivers side electrical seat worked fine, then one day i moved it backwards and it,s been stuck ever since, checked wiring underneath everything is connecteced,i know to check the fuses but i cant find them,so can so0mebdy please help me
The fuses for the seat are shared with other features on the car such as power antenna. Has any other power feature gone off as well?
Check the runners the seat slides in. There might be something trapped in there blocking the running action.
There are two fuse boxes. One under the hood in the rear drivers side corner, under a black plastic cover. The other is inside the car, inside the end panel of the dash. (With the door open).
Check fuses 1 and 18 as they cover the power seat functions.

Hi, the fuses are on the left side of the dash. You open the driver's door and get at it from the side.

U will need to replace the power seat transmission, the gears are most likely stripped out, not uncommon, this part is $800 so i would suggest u try to locate a used one.

If Drive Selector switch is properly aligned then a shift silonoid might be the problem.

Aside from the fuses, your drive side power door lock may be failing to work because of a bad door-lock relay system, or, alternatively, the locking switch/button, itself, is not malfunctioning and in need of replacement.
A great handyman site that specifies the above probable causes and more is the following link:

Good luck!

Try tapping the power seat frame with a hammer to unbind the motor .
