Van wont turn iver - 1999 Pontiac Montana

Have you checked the battery terminals? sounds like they are dirty/corroded causing no power to starter.

that just means that your battery does not have enough charge to start your car. you need someone to jump start your car or you can take the battery out and take it down to autozone and have them charge it up for you.

Please post Year, make, model, engine, mileage of your van.

Do you get 'spark' at the plugs?
Check engine control fuse box next to battery.
Timing jump??

Souond like it mite be the coil pack check in see if it geting fire if not coil pack should fix it

I would have battery checked/charged and/or replaced. Then starter, then alternator checked.

SUV will turn iver but want stay on

every once in awhile my mazda will turn iver but wont start.. thier is no reading so my mechanic doesnt know..he said thier was no spark, and then all of a sudden it started he cant get a reading on it..this has happened to me 3 different times it will run for 3 days and then the next time it wont? is thier a sensor? that last 2 times i was driving in slusshy snow and the other day thier was alot of fog..so does it have to do with something getting too much moisture? how can i figure out what the problem is without spending alot of money?

These are common for the pump shaft splines stripping in the torque converter. The transmission will need to be removed to fix it. Before you condemn the trans, does the speedo move and the van doesn't or do you hear any grinding when you put it back into park? Or can you push the van in park (Broken CV shafts)?

Check to see if the fuel pump is kicking in,
when you turn the key on without starting the van you should hear it kick on for about 2 seconds,

It could be...
A clogged fuel filter...
Blown fuse for the pump..or bad pump relay..
No gas
Bad fuel pump
