This happened to my 06 325i, the navigation and instrument cluster displays are not controlled by the same computer, mine had to go back to the dealer for a reprogramming, hope this helps. let me know.
there are three things that would cause this problem
1. the window motor is bad 2. the fuse that controls the window is blown
3. most common is the window switch its self
this is the most common cause if the motor was going out it would make a noise or go down very slow but going down is easier then up so thats what makes me think switch or fuse
if you have a volt meter, check the voltage at the battery before you start the engine and after the engine is running, before could be 11.5v after should be 13.5 or higher but no higher than 14.5, this will test the altenator, check the belt by pressing on the middle of the belt between the two pulleys the belt deflection should not be more than 1/2", if it is tighten and retest altenator
