I'm trying to change the knock sensor of my Nissan Quest 2001 but I don't know were it is located. Can you please help me by showing me a diagram of were to look.
Go here: http://parts.nissanusa.com/nissanparts/index.cfm?bodyColor=&trimColor=&BODY=W&ENGINE=VG33E&EMISSION=GXE&TRIMLVL=GXE&TRANS=AT&action=replacement&groupid=D§ionid=226&partcode=22060P&jointvehid=10541&makeid=25&siteid=14&illust_seq=01
This will show you the diagram of where it is located...auto parts stores carry this part too so don't think that the price you see there is final.
Hope this helps you

Go to Auto Zone, get a Haynes manual on this vehicle. It will tell you where it's at and also help you with future problems.

you have to remmove the intake and it is on what looks like a bracket that bolts to both heads is the knock sensor
SOURCE: 1997 nissan quest camshaft sensor where is it & how to replace it
The camshaft sensor is located inside the distributor and is part of it, in order to replace it you must replace the distributor,to replace remove the dist cap. mark the location of the rotor,by marking where its pointing to, then mark the dist housing, so now theres a mark on the rotor and housing to show where rotor points, next mark the location of dist going into housing, mark the shaft and the block, because it spins in block this way you can line back up.next remove hold down bolt and pull out, mark the new dist in exacat same spots as the old so you can install back the same, you may have to put it in and pull it out until your marks are lined up,this way the timing will be dead on, when done you can check timing. good luck
