There is no one fix works for all on these code. Also you have left out the letter and one number of the code I assume these are P0730 and P0733, if so read on.

P0730 CHRYSLER - Incorrect Gear RatioPossible causes- Low transmission fluid level
- Dirty transmission fluid
- Shift solenoids
- Shift solenoids harness or connectors
- Transmission mechanical problems
- Transmission hydraulic control circuit

P0733 CHRYSLER - Gear Ratio Error In Third GearPossible causes- Low transmission fluid level
- Dirty transmission fluid
- Shift solenoids
- Transmission mechanical problems
- Transmission hydraulic control circuit

Re: oil light - if it's not making loud engine noises, and oil level is up check your oil pressure sending unit. Either the wire is lose or off or the sensor is bad (they're cheap to replace)
The air bag light on/off indicates contact problem. Have dealer check that out, air bags are explosive and dangerous for the DIYr, plus dealers will usually do this under Fed. Warranty safety.

If it is a 4.0 strait six cylinder this is a common problem on them.Mine was located just below the oil filter and is pretty easy to fix.Plan it on your next oil change and it is even easier to change out.Oh just so you know your 4.0 liter engines do make a little bit of noise but are pretty much bulletproof if you just do regular maintence on them.Next time you start it put your ear down by the driver side hood hinge. You will find some tapping noise there it is part of the evap system. If it had no oil pressure you would know it rite away.

My 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 8 Cyl. has a loose linkage that controls wether the vehicle is in park, drive, ect. I obviously need it replaced but need to know how to do that and what the actual name...

Your shift selector linkage. Make sure the cable is actually streched, and not just loose at either end. Commonly when it doesn't function correctly the wable adjustment is loose at the transmission. It an arm with a solid linkage to it as well as posibly the cable directly tto another arm that is attached to a shaft entering the transmission. This is where the adjustment for the shift selector is gets paired with the correct transmission shift arm position.

Laredo 2009 has 60000 miles, doesn't moove on D or R, oil level is correct, i got two codes on the scaner 730 and 733, may i know how to fix this problem?

these are gear ratio codes you'll need to check all of your transmission fuses as well as grounds at your engine and battery terminals check your trans fluid smell it to see if it smells burnt. your next place will be your car dealership or a good transmission repair center.

I don't know how you thought he could fix that leak when the trans has to come out? Take it to a transmission shop and stop guessing, and replacing perfectly good parts. Have the trans shop replace the rear seal while the trans is out.
