Look in your owners manual if you have it. If not you need to get on mitchell or all-data. They will have diagrams

It should be printd into the fuse cover. If you can't see a fuse blown, then thats not your problem. Check the clearing at the top of the brake pedle to the brake acuator and if there is an overlarge gap it will not work the electrical circut.

It would be easier if you mention what device you're working with and I can tell you what number location it's fuse is at. Symbols are only there to confuse the hell out of you, although it's true purpose is to be recognized as a global standard. Now if you want to make it easier for yourself, buying a Bentley's repair manual is the only way to go. I hate to tell you that there are no free manuals you can down load, it cost money and someones time to upload a manual just to share it freely on the net.

Yes this a easy fix. Penny is out right? Look in your owners manual. This will tell you where your fuse panel is and what type of fuse to replace.
Good luck and thanks for your question and I hope my suggestions help. Don't forget to rate me.

Shut off your Volkswagen Passat before replacing a fuse. Find the fuse box on the driver's side of the car, under a plastic cover on dashboard to the left side, door open.
